Turning Centers

Machine under scheduled maintenance

At Jet Products, the preventative maintenance schedule of our Turning Centers is outsourced, to drive the discipline necessary to keep equipment performing at peak levels. This pro-active approach to insure the longevity of our investment also insures product quality and helps control on time delivery to our customers.

Maximum Flow and Output

Positioned for maximum efficiency.

Our Machining centers are positioned to maximize part flow and spindle output. It is common, at Jet Products, to be running sequenced operations during the same time period on multiple machines. This reduces lead times and allows Jet Products to produce a flow of completed parts while the remainder of the lot is still in work.

The machine placement at Jet Products, allows multiple machine operation by one skilled operator. This reduces the labor to output ratio which means better pricing for our customers and the competitive edge to Jet Products.

Experienced & Cross-Trained Operators

At Jet Products, machine operators receive cross training to allow movement from machine to machine to compliment product flow. It is quite common to see an operator running turning or milling centers simultaineously.

Eddie, a qualified employee.

Every employee at Jet Products must be skilled in the use of precision measurements and blueprint reading. To advance they must also receive training in geometric dimensioning and tolerancing. These base core competencies are taught on site at Jet Products by qualified instructors in a classroom setting and in a demonstration setting at the actual task.
