The paint department within the Special Processing Division of Jet Products was designed to insure a consistent atmosphere. To guarantee a contamination free coating process, air coming into the paint department must pass through 2 separate air filter banks and if the air becomes to humid, the first set of filter banks have been strategically positioned above the baking oven doors, which allows the doors of the oven to be opened, which act as a dryer before the air passes through the second filter bank just before entering the painting area.

"Liquid Penetrant and Magnetic Particle Inspection" is another service provided within the Special Processing Division of Jet Products. This process is designed to catch the non - conformance's that could escape the human eye. The Penetrant inspection system, utilized by the Special Processing Division, is environmentally safe. Jet Products uses a self contained recycling and filter system that captures all residue left behind by this process. Nothing is returned to the city sewer system. A bottled filter exchange program is our method of being a good and responsible neighbor to our community.

The Special Processing Division of Jet Products utilizes and air collector method of insuring the integrity of the final machined component. Parts are submerged in a water or oil bath and placed under customer specified air or hydraulic pressure and observed for leakage through walls of material. Our technicians are included in our corporation wide "Employee Certification Program". This is your insurance policy of the task being performed to your designated specification.

Proper installation of sub-assembled details is a critical process within the Special Processing Division of Jet Products. Each assembly bench is identical in design and tooled a like. This permits our assemblers to move with the flow of a job. Included in our wet processing department is our passivate process. Tanks are placed in a flow design to maximize out put in the least amount of time. The passivation process is supplemented with a salt spray chamber to act as verification of specified processing.
