Passivation
Passivation per AMS-QQ-P-35, Type II and Type IV for stainless steel alloy. Staffed by trained and qualified personnel, our tank size is 4ft./sq.
Stainless steel alloys are first pre-cleaned, immersed in a de-rust solution, then passivated in either a nitric acid solution, or a nitric acid / sodium dichromate solution as required by specification type. After passivation, a run sample is tested by salt spray, water immersion, or copper sulfate to confirm our process.
Many types or racking and baskets are available to assist in the processing of customer hardware. In many cases, all the parts can be run in a single cycle, resulting in the customer being charged a single lot fee.
